JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Age: 21
- Education: High School diploma, college degree preferred, prior POST preferred
- Experience: 3-5 years LEO or MP experience
Minimum experience- must have one of the following Must be a graduate of a certified Federal, State, County, or local law enforcement training academy, military police training program, or an equivalent which presented the individual with appropriate certificate or diploma
(P.O.S.T., DD214) must be provided with full resume.
Officers must have at least two (3-5) calendar years of full time experience as a certified civilian or military law enforcement officer. Or officers must have a minimum of two (2) calendar years of active reserve police officer experience or three years of professional public safety experience.
We will consider whether any proposed officer’s background may constitute equivalent experience.
In addition, candidates:
Must pass 180 initial academy and annual re-certification of sixty hours.
Other hiring requirements include:
- US Citizen
- Current Driver’s License With No Points/DUI
- Pass a Physical
- Pass Drug Check
- Pass a Full and Complete Background Check
- All other requirements as necessary
